King's Land
Using MSP® and PRINCE2® effectively
The United Nations (U.N.) has asked you te develop this island in the pacific ocean. It is strategically located and needs to handle lots of planes, ships and traffic. It is your task as a programme team with different project teams to develop the new country with several cities. The pressure on your team will be high, The U.S. and China are eager to take control over the island. It is your tasks to convince the U.N. of your plan. They have given you three years to develop the island before they will take over control.
King's Land works as an introduction to Programme Management when implementing and realising a programme in an organisation. Playing King's Land causes many benefits. It serves as a practical exercise during MSP® training and as a practical tool in programme management implementation. In addition, King's Land raises awareness of the roles and responsibilities of governance in programmes.
King's Land is a serious management game where Programme and Project managers and their teams are trained in in dealing with risks and minimising adverse impact in a structured, effective, fun and engaging way
Ambition Group records observations and evaluation notes from the game sessions. Feedback and actionable recommendations for improvement are provided in a report format in line with the agreed learning outcomes. As a result, all participants become aware of their project management skills & capabilities.
